The month of May delivers another batch of amazing singles that either shine lyrically or melodically. The summer is right around the corner and artists like Anderson .Paak and Beyoncé release new music as they perform on their world tours. Russ, Billy Woods, and J. Cole all use their incredible rapping skills on some well-produced beats.

With that being said, here are the best songs of May 2023. This list contains many mainstream and independent placements from artists who either dropped great albums during the month or that are preparing to do so soon. NxWorries, the duo composed of Anderson .Paak and Knxwledge, is back with an amazing single before they kick off their summer tour together. Featuring a beautiful guitar solo and a catchy refrain by the California artist, “Daydreaming” is the perfect song to roll the windows down and enjoy a sunny ride.
