With half of the year behind us, it’s clear that 2023 is very potent with the new song releases. Popular artists like Kid Cudi, Metro Boomin, and Joyner Lucas are dropping some beautiful gems while smaller artists like Nicholas Craven, Boldy James, and Isaac Zale continue towards international success.
With that being said, here are the best songs of June 2023. This list contains many mainstream and independent placements from artists who either dropped great albums during the month or that are preparing to do so soon. The Cleveland native is back with a brand-new song that sounds like it could have been on his 2021 album MOTM 3 as his voice effects and beat selection are very similar. The synth bass and the distorted horns make the groove interesting while Cudi raps about living carefree and enjoying life.

Metro Boomin – Annihilate (feat. Swae Lee, Lil Wayne & Offset)
Off the new soundtrack that accompanies the popular Spider-Man sequel, Metro Boomin creates a great opening track that shows his natural talent when it comes to curating grandiose trap ballads. Swae Lee is in great shape as he sings the melodic hooks and one verse. The rap verses from Lil Wayne and Offset are well-executed as Metro creates a spacy environment with the help of Mike Dean.
